Dorothy Stanford HowardShe went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2006. She was born on April 25, 1915 to Maude and Roscoe Stanford in Boston, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her sisters Edna Jordan and India Hoover. She attended Morton High School in Richmond and graduated from Boston High School where she met her husband of 27 years, Dr. Richard Howard. She also graduated from Indiana University where she erned her degree in Art. She studied under Floyd Hopper for over 20 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a follower of Jesus Christ. Dorothy was a member of Hope Christian Missionary Alliance Church for over 50 years. She is survived by daughters: Sally Stein and Sue McClain and grandsons, Scott and Micah McClain. Private graveside services will be held October 16, 2006 at Elkhorn Cemetery, Richmond, IN. Arrangements handled by Harry Moore Family Mortuary, Allisonville Rd. Chapel.
